Although the Practical Assessments are now removed from the Foundation Syllabus so we thought the following YouTube videos would be of interest to those who have not been able to experience a Practical Assessment session.

Foundation Technical Basics
This is a series of videos produced by EngineeringMindset.com which whilst not strictly tied to the Foundation Syllabus, they are useful in understanding some of the basic concepts of electronics. I think they probably could be useful at Intermediate level and I don’t like their devotion to the Coulomb when talking about Electron Flow as they like to quote how many quadrillion electrons flow per second when talking about current flow which is completely unnecessary. Also although the graphics are good there are typos which ought not to have got through inspection. Anyway have look and judge for yourself how useful they were
