So said the poet but little did he know that April often saw the launch of the Wythall Radio Club’s Easter Contest

Starts: 1000 local Maundy Thursday (17th April 2025) 

Ends: 2000 local Easter Monday (21st April 2025)

“Get on air and work each other!  

 

1.To maximise the enjoyment, please try to operate on as many bands and modes as you can.

2.If you normally only operate on 2m FM, try a bit of HF if you are able… 

3.If you normally only operate FT8, or CW (are you listening M6KET), please find your microphones. 

4.If you have a limited range at home, please think whether you could try a little mobile or portable operating.  Otherwise we run the risk of lots of members being active, but not working each other.

 

Remember we have GB3WL (70 cms Voice), GB3XO (70cms voice in Redditch + Echolink enabled), and also now MB7TW (2m SSTV repeater) as some local options.

 

Also I’m hoping that some of our less active, or more remote members can be active over the period.
